This website contains documents related to the Forest Roads Working Group (FRWG) and its efforts to address roadless area conservation issues in the National Forest System. The FRWG is an ad hoc coalition comprised of organizations that collectively represent conservationists, sportspersons, members of the forest products industry and outdoor recreation businesses that support the protection of roadless areas. The FRWG includes the Izaak Walton League, Trout Unlimited, Wildlife Management Institute, The Wildlife Society, Wildlife Forever, International Paper, the Outdoor Industry Association, and the Pinchot Institute for Conservation. The FRWG requested assistance from the Meridian Institute in convening and facilitating a multi-stakeholder dialogue on roadless area conservation. The documents are as follows:
