The Regional Watershed Roundtables

All across the country diverse watershed interests have been gathering in Regional Watershed Roundtables to discuss the challenges facing today's watersheds. Using seed money provided by several federal agencies, the convenors of the Roundtables assembled diverse stakeholders from watersheds in their regions to identify and begin addressing common challenges. Each of the 13 Roundtables is unique, but some share similar goals, such as:

  • Enhancing communication among local watershed interests.

  • Providing forums for stakeholder discussions of barriers and innovative solutions to watershed management challenges.

  • Providing peer-to-peer learning opportunities.

  • Identifying areas of common ground.

  • Identifying priorities and solving problems.

The experience and findings of the Roundtables will serve as building blocks for the National Watershed Forum so that it will meet the needs of the broad array of stakeholders involved in collaborative watershed protection and restoration efforts throughout the nation.

Following you will find the contact information for your Watershed Regions. There is some overlapping, however feel free to contact whomever you feel is appropriate with any questions or comments you might have.
